Colorado State men’s basketball celebrates faculty and staff Wednesday night
FORT COLLINS – Colorado State men's basketball concludes its three-game homestand to open the 2025-26 season on Wednesday when it welcomes Cal Poly to Moby Arena at 7 p.m. The program will honor and celebrate the great faculty and staff at CSU by hosting a Faculty and Staff Appreciation Night. All faculty and staff can receive two tickets to the game using their CSU ID number through this link.

- Colorado State improved to 2-0 on the season with another strong offensive performance in a 97-74 win over Omaha Sunday.
- CSU enters Wednesday's game on an 11-game home win streak dating back to the 2024-25 season. That ties for the fifth-longest home win streak at Moby Arena and seventh-longest in program history.
- Kyle Jorgensen upped his career-high game in the season-opener by resetting his score high with 25 points and adding another nine rebounds.
- Jorgensen's performance over the first week earned him Mountain West Player of the Week honors. The sophomore averaged 20.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.0 steal in the first two games of the season.

- Nique Clifford became the fourth player in program history to be picked in the first round of the NBA Draft in June. Clifford was the 24th pick overall by Oklahoma City with his rights traded to Sacramento.
- Clifford had one of the best seasons in program history his final year. He earned AP All-America honorable mention, was the MVP for the Mountain West Tournament and helped the program earn its first Mountain West title since 2003 by winning the Mountain West Tournament.
Scouting the Mustangs
Cal Poly enters Fort Collins on Wednesday after winning its past two games. The Mustangs are 2-1 on the year, dropping their season opener to USC.
Poly likes to play fast with the third-highest adjusted tempo in the country, getting up and down the floor offensively and getting after opponents defensively.
In their first three games of the season, the Mustangs have shot 101 3-pointers and turned their opponent over an average of 15.3 times per game.
Hamad Mousa leads the team in scoring (17.7) and rebounding (8.3) and is second in assists (2.3).
