Rams drop three straight sets to Aggies
FORT COLLINS - The Colorado State volleyball team came up short against the Utah State Aggies Saturday afternoon in a three-set sweep. Â
Colorado State (0) – Utah State (3) – 12-25, 22-25, 9-25Â
- Rams and Aggies competed in front of a pink out crowd with a total of 3,463 attendees. Zeta Tau Alpha passed out pink ribbons in support of Breast Cancer Awareness to all of the spectators in Colorado State's annual Pink Out game.
- Utah State out-hit Colorado State 20-9 in the first set. The Aggies finished the match with a hitting percentage of .462 compared to the Rams' .135. Â
- The Rams switched to a 6-2 offense in the second frame with Zosia Szczotkiewicz as the addition setter and Jazen DeBina joining the efforts on the right side. Â
- Eve Wilson finished the day with eight kills. Followed by Maria Brun with seven, Kekua Richards with six and Halle Jameson with five.Â
Up Next: The Colorado State Rams will see the Air Force Falcons and the Nevada Wolf Pack on the road next week.
