The Road to the NCAA Volleyball Championship goes through Fort Collins!
For the first time in the program's history, CSU is hosting an NCAA Volleyball Regional at Moby Arena. One team will advance from the Fort Collins regional to the NCAA Volleyball Championship semi-finals.

- Defeated Albany and Long Beach State in the first two rounds
- Pac-10 champs
- Finished 2nd to Penn State in 2007 national tournament
- Last played at Moby in 2003 (UPHI Classic)
Hawaii - ranked #6, seeded #7
- Defeated Belmont and USC in the first two rounds
- WAC champs
- Roster includes Tara Hittle from Doherty HS in Colorado Springs
- Last played at Moby in 2004 (NCAA Tournament)
Florida - ranked #11, seeded #15
- Defeated Florida A&M and CSU in the first two rounds
- SEC champs
- Roster includes two freshmen from Colorado: Kristy Jaeckel (Littleton) and Cindy Bathelt (Colorado Springs)

Purdue - ranked #17, seeded #10
- Defeated Louisville and Middle Tennessee in the first two rounds
