July 20, 2011
FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Colorado State student-athlete Ali Pavlik is an honorable-mention All-American, the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches announced this week. Pavlik, an attacker from Berwyn, Ill., who just completed her eligibility, is the first All-American in the history of the CSU water polo program, which launched in 2005. A first-team all-Western Water Polo Association selection, she led the team with 61 goals, in addition to 29 assists and 32 steals. With her 61 goals as a senior in 2011, she became the all-time leading scorer in CSU history. She plans to graduate in December with a degree in hospitality management.
