CSU ranks 18th nationally in fan attendance
Oct. 16, 2007
FORT COLLINS, Colo. - The Colorado State volleyball team moved up two spots in the national rankings to No. 21 and is looking forward to spiking attendance Thursday against BYU with several fan friendly promotions. The match also is the AVCA Match of the Week and will be shown on CSTV later in the week.
The Rams currently are the only undefeated team in the Mountain West Conference and rank 18th in the NCAA in attendance. Thursday will feature $1 youth tickets, rally towels for the first 1,500 fans, a sign contest and a school spirit contest.
"The atmosphere in Moby is a key to our program's success," said Head Coach Tom Hilbert. "This is a hard place for people to come in and play. Our fans are great and the energy they bring really helps us on the court."
The first serve of the night will be at 7 p.m., with the men's and women's basketball programs kicking off the season with 10 O'clock Rock following.
BYU vs Colorado State Volleyball Promotion Details: $1 Youth Night $1 tickets for fans 17 and under
