Today’s match will mark the Gators’ first-ever trip to Fort Collins for volleyball. It will mark the fourth all-time meeting between the two schools.

Entering tonight’s match, the Rams have won 18 straight matches at Moby Arena. CSU finished perfect at home last season (14-0) and is off to a 4-0 start in Fort Collins this season.

Over her last four matches, Mekana Barnes has tallied 54 kills and has posted at least 10 kills in each match. She has hit at least .360 in each match.

Senior setter Ashley Fornstrom has recorded at least 30 assists in all eight matches this season. She has averaged 43.3 assists per match in the last three matches.

Today’s match is the second of five straight home matches for the Rams. Following the Rams’ showdown with the Gators on Saturday, CSU will begin Mountain West Conference action with three straight home dates against Utah, BYU and Wyoming.
