FORT COLLINS, Colo. -- Colorado State volleyball fans will again have ample access to the program this year, as Hilbert's Happy Hour will debut Tuesday from 5-6 p.m. at C.B. & Potts.
The event, featuring veteran head coach Tom Hilbert, is a great opportunity for fans to get to know CSU's mentor, and allows them to ask questions and hear Hilbert discuss past matches and the upcoming week. A player guest will join Hilbert each week, and at the end of each session, Hilbert will give a "chalk talk," where he will break down a specific skill of volleyball and teach it to those in attendance.
Great food and drink specials from C.B. & Potts will also be available. C.B. & Potts is located just west of Moby Arena at 1415 W. Elizabeth Ave.
Fans are encouraged to partake in the weekly event, beginning Tuesday, and continuing each week throughout the season. Hilbert's Happy Hour will not take place Sept. 3 or Sept. 10 as the Rams have matches vs. Northern Colorado and at Denver, respectively.
CSU volleyball opens its 2013 campaign Friday at 6 p.m. at home against Big 12 foe Baylor. The Rams, picked second in the Mountain West and receiving votes in the AVCA Division I Coaches Preseason Poll, will also host Cal Poly on Aug. 31 at 7 p.m.
