FORT COLLINS, Colo. – With the calendar now turned to August, Head Coach Tom Hilbert and the Colorado State volleyball team are counting down the days until the Rams return to the court.
CSU will report for fall camp Sunday, Aug. 10, and hold its first practice the following day, Aug. 11. Fans are invited to attend the afternoon practice and join the team afterward for its annual media/booster kickoff BBQ.
From 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., fans can watch the Rams go through one of their first workout sessions of the fall season, and immediately following, the event will transition to the Bob Davis Hall, located on the south concourse of Moby Arena. Dinner will be served immediately, with Hilbert speaking at the podium about the upcoming season, introducing his 2014 team and answering questions.
Student-athletes will be available for breakout interviews with the media following Hilbert’s remarks.
The event is free for Hilbert’s NETwork members, and $10 for non-members. For more information about Hilbert’s NETwork group, click here.
CSU – coming off a record-breaking 28-2 season which saw a fifth consecutive Mountain West championship, 19th straight trip to the NCAA tournament and top-10 rankings both on the court and for attendance – hosts 15 home matches in 2014, beginning with a double-header Aug. 30.
In all, CSU plays six teams which competed in last season’s NCAA tournament, including national runner-up Wisconsin Sept. 6 at Moby Arena.
Season tickets are on sale now. Additionally this year, fans can take part in the Weekend Package (all eight Saturday and Sunday matches) and the Pick-4 Plan (your choice of any four matches).
