2015 (SENIOR): Was named Mountain West Player of the Year and earned AVCA Third Team All-America honors after switching to a setter-hitter role in CSU's new 6-2 offense... Also earned two prestigious awards at the state level - Colorado Sports Hall of Fame Female Collegiate Athlete of the Year and Mile High Sports College Athlete of the Year... Earned two national player of the week honors - Sports Imports/AVCA (10/20) and espnW (10/28) for the second time in her career... Set the CSU and Mountain West career and single-season records for triple-doubles with eight... Also recorded the first quadruple-double in the NCAA in over five years at San Jose State (10/17), with 10 kills, 20 assists, 13 digs and a career-best 11 blocks... The quadruple-double was the second triple-double in one week for Culbert, after accomplishing the feat against Wyoming (10/13); also hit a season-best .526 hitting percentage against the Cowgirls... Also posted four three-set triple-doubles after only one three-set triple-double had been recorded in school history prior to 2015... Registered 10-plus kills 11 times, including a season-best 19 in a five-set thriller at Wyoming (11/24); also had a career-high 34 assists in the match, the most of any CSU player in five-set match... Took advantage of playing all six rotations, ranking third on the team in digs (2.58 per set) and posting 10-plus digs 14 times, including a season-high 15 at New Mexico (11/7)... Recorded nine kills on a season-best .615 hitting percentage at Utah State (10/24)... Had a career-high four service aces in the season opener vs. Baylor (8/28), tied for the most aces by a CSU player in 2015... Totaled 18 double-doubles, the second-most in a single season in program history.
2014 (JUNIOR): Earned AVCA All-Region honors for the second-consecutive season... Named an All-Mountain West selection after ranking fourth in the league for hitting (.348), 10th for digs (3.23) and 17th for kills (2.69)... Held the highest hitting percentage among all pin hitters... Averaged the most digs among non-defensive specialists... Started 32 of 33 matches... Had 10 or more kills on 14 occasions and 10 or more digs in 20 matches, including eight double-doubles... Had double figures for kills in five-consecutive matches (10/23-11/6), capped with a 12-kill, zero-error performance (.706 hitting) at Fresno State (11/6)... One of the double-doubles came against New Mexico (11/15), posting 14 digs and a season-most 13 kills... In three NCAA tournament matches, averaged 3.91 digs per set, including a career-high 18 vs. No. 19 Colorado (12/6) and a team-most 15 vs. No. 6 Texas (12/12)... In wins over Wyoming (10/7) and Fresno State (10/11), averaged 3.00 kills per set on .567 hitting, in addition to 3.83 digs, 1.00 blocks, 1.33 assists and a service ace... Was named the Mountain West Women's Volleyball Player of the Week (10/13) and espnW's National Player of the Week (10/15) for her performances... Tallied a double-double with 12 kills (.320 hitting) and 15 digs in a five-set win at San Diego State (10/30)... Hit at a .625 clip with zero errors (10-0-16) against Utah State (10/25), the nation's sixth-best blocking team at the time... Had a team-most 12 digs and team-high-tying four blocks, in addition to 10 kills on .562 hitting (10-1-16) against Boise State (10/23)... Had two kills and was serving during a 5-0 CSU run to give the Rams a 13-12 lead in Set 1... Had a team-most 10 kills on 16 swings (10-0-16) against Fresno State... Totaled a team-most 15 digs against a Wyoming team which ranked ninth in the NCAA for hitting efficiency at the time... Had five kills on six swings, plus seven digs in a 25-23 Set-3 win... Tallied her fourth double-double of the season vs. San Diego State (10/4) with 10 kills and 10 digs... Tied then-personal bests for digs (17) and blocks (7) in a four-set win at Utah State (9/25)... After ties at six consecutive points in Set 2, CSU went on a 5-0 run, including a kill and three blocks from Culbert... Had a double-double with 10 kills and 14 digs in a win at No. 18 Arizona State (9/19)... CSU jumped out to a 9-0 lead in the fifth set behind the serving of Culbert... Recorded back-to-back double-doubles, totaling 10 kills (.471 hitting) and 12 digs vs. Denver (9/9) and 10 kills and 14 digs vs. No. 9 BYU (9/12)... In Set 3 against BYU, totaled two kills and a block on consecutive plays to spark what would become a 14-4 CSU run... Tallied 13 digs in a three-set win over Marquette (8/31), limiting Preseason BIG EAST Player of the Year Autumn Bailey to -.030 hitting... Added eight kills (.353 hitting), two service aces, 12 digs and three blocks in the win... Helped CSU jump out to a 6-1 Set-2 lead vs. UC Santa Barbara (8/30), recording an ace and kill during the run.
2013 (SOPHOMORE): Earned All-Mountain West and AVCA All-America Honorable Mention honors... Was twice named the MW Women's Volleyball Player of the Week... The first honor came after helping CSU to a four-set win at Denver (Sept. 10) with 23 kills on .512 hitting... The 23 kills were the most by a CSU player since 2011, and tied for third-most in the MW in 2013... That night she also added a career-most three service aces... As a six-rotation player, averaged 2.53 kills per set (third on the team), 2.78 digs (second), 0.19 service aces (fourth), 0.72 assists (second) and 0.51 blocks (eighth)... Recorded double digits for kills 14 times and digs on 17 occasions... Had eight double-doubles, including at Utah State (Nov. 2), when she totaled 12 kills and zero errors (.522 hitting), a career-high-tying 17 digs and a season-most six blocks... Ranks third in CSU single-season history with a .969 reception percentage... Began the year averaging 3.58 kills per set on .376 hitting over the team's first nine matches, recording at least nine kills in each contest... Was the only player in the MW to rank in the top 20 for hitting percentage (.305, 13th), service aces (15th) and digs (18th)... Started all 30 matches, playing in every set... Earned MW Academic All-Conference honors for the second straight season.
2012 (FRESHMAN): After sitting out the first four matches of the season expected to redshirt, came in and made an immediate impact... Averaged 2.42 digs per set, ranking third all-time among CSU freshmen... In her collegiate debut, against No. 14 Tennessee (Aug. 31), she registered eight kills and a season-high 15 digs... Tallied double-digit dig totals 10 times, including three of the final four regular-season matches... Against No. 2 UCLA (Sept. 15), recorded a season-high nine kills... At Northern Colorado (Nov. 13), posted her first career double-double (12 digs, 10 assists)... Ranked 10th in the Mountain West with a .272 hitting percentage, which was second among outside hitters behind only All-American teammate Dana Cranston... Earned MW Academic All-Conference and MW Scholar-Athlete honors for her performance in the classroom.
HIGH SCHOOL: Is a 2012 graduate of Delton-Kellogg High School in Delton, Mich. ... As a four-year letterwinner, was a finalist for Michigan's Miss Volleyball, awarded annually to the top high school player in the state... Advanced to the state regional finals as a senior... Named first-team all-state three times... As a sophomore, helped her team to the state championship... Competed for the prestigious club team, Dead Frog... Also lettered in basketball and track each year of high school... Named to the all-state team in basketball in 2012.
PERSONAL: Goes by Dri... Born Jan. 27, 1994, in Kalamazoo, Mich. ... Raised in Delton, Mich. ... One of seven children born to Sam and Carla Culbert... Three of her siblings currently compete or have competed in college athletics, ranging from football to volleyball to rowing... Her father also was a football player at Western Michigan... Majoring in business administration.
