2012 (FRESHMAN): After sitting out the first four matches of the season expected to redshirt, came in and made an immediate impact for the Rams... Averaged 2.42 digs per set, ranking third all-time among CSU freshmen... In her collegiate debut, against No. 14 Tennessee (Aug. 31), she registered eight kills and a career-high 15 digs... Tallied double-digit dig totals 10 times, including three of the final four regular-season matches... Against No. 2 UCLA (Sept. 15), recorded a career-high nine kills... At Northern Colorado (Nov. 13), she posted her first career double-double (12 digs, career-high 10 assists)... Ranked 10th in the Mountain west with a .272 hitting percentage, which was second among outside hitters... Earned Academic All-MW honors for her performance in the classroom.
HIGH SCHOOL: Was a four-year letterwinner in volleyball at Delton-Kellogg High School, in Delton, Mich. ... Was a finalist for Michigan's Miss Volleyball, awarded annually to the top high school player in the state... Advanced to the state regional finals as a senior... Named first-team all-state three times in high school... As a sophomore, assisted her team to the state championship... Competes for the prestigious club team, Dead Frog... Also lettered in basketball and track each year of high school... Named to the all-state team in basketball in 2010.
PERSONAL: Goes by Dri... Born in Kalamazoo, Mich. ... One of seven children born to Sam and Carla Culbert... Three of her siblings currently compete or have competed in college athletics, ranging from football to volleyball to rowing... Her father also was a football player at Western Michigan.
