By Justin Warren FORT COLLINS, Colo. - After its first victory of the season last week, the Colorado State tennis team (1-1, 0-0 MWC) looks for another win at home Sunday facing the Montana Grizzles (0-1, 0-0 Big Sky) inside Miramont Lifestyle Fitness South. Starting time for the match has been moved to 9:45 a.m. due to Montana's departure time from DIA later in the day. "I expect Montana to be a very tough opponent," Head Coach Jon Messick said. "They are a good quality team and I will expect a really close, competitive match. They will have played a couple of opponents in Colorado before they play us and I expect they will be pretty sharp." The Rams come into the matchup off a 7-0 sweep over the Portland State Vikings last Saturday night. Senior Laura Neal and sophomore Tori Arneson both earned their first victory of the season in singles, playing at the No. 1 and No. 2 positions. The pair also teamed up in doubles to earn the doubles point for CSU, defeating Caitlin Stockings and Anya Dalkin of the Vikings, 8-2, at the No. 1 position. Sophomore Lauren Mulhern added to her win total last week, defeating Kylea Gleason of Portland State, 6-0, 6-0, at the No. 4 singles position, for her eighth victory of the season. Mulhern and sophomore Veronika Wojakowska also earned their seventh win in doubles defeating Tara Vidali and Kylea Gleason, 8-2. After a loss in its opening matchup of the season to Boise State, Montana will play a three-match road stretch beginning in Colorado Springs, Colo., facing Air Force Friday and Texas-San Antonio Saturday. The Grizzles will end their road trip against the Rams Sunday. Fans are encouraged to come out on Sunday morning and support the Rams against Montana. Admission is free at Miramont Lifestyle Fitness South located at 901 Oakridge Drive, behind Sam's Club.
