Tennis Recap: Colorado State drops 7-0 decision to Wyoming in Laramie

Laramie, Wyo. – The Colorado State women’s tennis team fell to Wyoming, 7-0, Saturday, in Laramie, Wyo.

In doubles, the Rams dropped all three matches, giving Wyoming the doubles point.  

In singles Wyoming captured three consecutive victories at No. 4, No. 3 and No. 6, to seal the match, then went on to win the rest of the singles matches to secure the shutout. 

Rams freshman Kendall Heitzner, was narrowly edged by the Cowgirls’ Jessica Parizher 7-5, 0-6, with a 10-8 tie-breaker at the No. 5 position, to gave Parizher the point.

The Rams will resume play when they travel to Fresno, Calif. to take on Fresno State Saturday, April 6 at 1 p.m. MT, and Nevada Sunday, April 7 at 9 a.m., MT.
