Heffron went 3-0 over spring break play

FULLERTON, Calif. - In the final match of the Rams' spring break trip, the Colorado State women's tennis team dropped a close, 4-3, match to the Titans Sunday afternoon. Over the week, doubles pair Tori Arneson and Kaley Schultz went 2-1 and Natalie Heffron went a perfect 3-0.
The loss pushed the Rams back to a record of 3-8, 0-0 MW while bringing Cal State Fullerton to a record of 6-7, 0-3 BW.
In doubles, CSU gained an early lead over Fullerton as the Rams tallied victories at the Nos. 1 and 3 positions. Arneson and Schultz slid by with a close 8-6 win, while Adriana and Veronika Wojkowska followed, topping their Titan pair, 8-4.
In singles, CSU dropped matches at the Nos. 1 and 2 positions in order to give the Titans a lead for the first time throughout the dual.
Soon to follow was Heffron, going 3-0 throughout the week, to tie up the dual for the Rams in a third set decision, 6-3, 4-6, 6-2, over the Titan's Monika Rodriguez.
The dual continued to remain even as Fullerton's Jessica Pepa defeated Veronika Wojakowska at the No. 6 position, 6-3, 6-3, while CSU's Schultz topped the Titan's Kalika Slevcove at No. 4, 6-4, 7-5.
The dual-clinching match was left at the racquet of No. 5 singles, Adriana Wojakowska. After falling in the first set, 6-3, Wojakowska forced her way back in order to split sets with her Titan opponent, before falling in the third frame, 6-2.
Colorado State will return home before heading back to the Golden State in order to take on San Diego State and UNLV in back-to-back matches on the 24 and 25, opening up conference play for the Rams for the first time this season.
