Mallory Voelker joined the Rams as assistant tennis coach prior to the 2009-10 season after four years playing tennis at the Division I level.

Ranked No. 65 nationally in 2008, she finished her college career with a record of 107-38 in singles and 79-50 in doubles.

In two seasons at the University of Denver, she compiled a singles record of 54-15 and a doubles record of 39-23. In 2008, she reached the NCAA national championship in both singles and doubles competition, while earning all-Sun Belt Conference singles honors and Sun Belt Conference tournament MVP.

Voelker competed for Purdue in her first two collegiate seasons, combining for 53 singles victories and 40 doubles wins. She also received all-Big Ten honors in 2006, competing at the No. 1 position in both singles and doubles, and was ranked every week of competition in doubles with her partner, Brooke Beier. As a freshman, Voelker posted a 31-11 singles record, the second highest season total in program history.

Voelker's graduated from the University of Denver in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in sociology and a psychology minor.
