Stood out in the distance-freestyle events...At the Mountain West championships took 31st place in the 500 Freestyle with a time of 5:06.07, the third-fastest time on the team for the season...In the 1,650 Freestyle, earned 12th place with a time of 17:06.08, the second-fastest time on the team for the season.

Saint Joseph High School
Helped SJHS to a Los Padres League championship...Earned four varsity letters in swimming...Was MVP of her team...Held the record for the 500 Free at her high school with a time of 5:01...Was on the Dean's honors list and was a principal's honor-roll student...Also swam with the Santa Maria Swim Club...In 2009, was a national qualifier in the 1,650 Free and a junior national qualifier in the 1,000 and 1,650 freestyle events...Selected as part of the USA Swimming Scholastic All-America Team in 2008-09.
