Kaitlin Bourne will be counted on to assist Head Coach John Mattos for the 2005-2006 swimming season. She is in her first year with the Rams.
Bourne graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology, while earning a minor in Political Science from the University of San Diego in 2003.
While at USD, Bourne was a four-year member of the swim team, as well as serving as the team captain. During her four years, she used her summer months to teach swimming technique at USD.
Bourne also has high school coaching experience. She coached under Don DeAngelo at the University of San Diego High School in 2003.
She hopes her swimming experience along with her coaching experience will help mentor the CSU women's swimming team. Bourne wishes to also use her expetise in technique training, as well as her ability to harmonize a team to swim with confidence and enthusiasm.
