Rams softball to be broadcast live on The Mtn.

CENTENNIAL, Colo. – The MountainWest Sports Network – The Mtn. – will feature the Colorado State softball team when the Rams take on Mountain West Conference foe New Mexico on May 2.  The network made the announcement today.    

The broadcast, the second of a pair of MWC softball games to air live on The Mtn. this season, will feature former Rams standout and head coach, and former Olympian, Teri (Klement) Goldberg, who will provide color commentary alongside three-time Emmy winner Anne Marie Anderson. 

Former CSU shortstop and all-region performer Holly Schmillen, a two-time all-MWC honoree (2000, ’01) will also be a part of The Mtn.’s broadcast team, joining hosts Marius Payton and Bill Doleman in studio for analysis on Pre-Game Live and Post-Game Live.

The Rams and Lobos square off May 2 at Lobo Field in Albuquerque, N.M.  First pitch is slated for 4 p.m. MT. 

Fans in the Fort Collins area can tune in to The Mtn. on Comcast (411) and DirecTV (616).

The Rams also have five Mountain West matchups remaining on their home slate, including a pair of games this weekend against UNM on Saturday and Sunday.  First pitch both days is scheduled for 1 p.m. MT. 

Next weekend, Colorado State will also play host to UNLV and San Diego State.  The Rams and Rebels face off at 3 p.m. on April 24.  The Aztecs come to Ram Field for a pair of games at 3 p.m. MT on April 25 and on “Senior Day”, April 26, at 1 p.m. MT. 

Admission is free and all home games are played at Ram Field, located just south of Moby Arena.
