Sylmar - Was a two-sport athlete for the Sylmar Spartans in Sylmar, Calif....earned four varsity letters in softball and three in volleyball...played softball under head coach Sonia Garcia...named league player of the year in 2006...named to the All-League second team in 2004 and All-League first team in 2005...named team MVP twice...named a scholar athlete in 2004, 2005 and 2006...earned the Dr. Calvo's Best Woman Athlete Award in 2006...was softball team captain for two years...played club softball for the So Cal Sliderz.
