Current, former Rams in hunt at CWGA Stroke Play Championship

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. -- Junior Kasey Claussen fired a second-round 69 (-3) and sits in a tie for second place, three strokes behind the tournament leader, at the Colorado Women's Golf Association Stroke Play Championships at Buffalo Run Golf Course.  Claussen shaved three strokes off of her opening-round score and enters tomorrow's final round with at 4-under-par. 

A pair of former Rams, Lynette Duran (2001-05) and Amber Ward (2003-07), is also in the hunt in the championship flight through two rounds.  Duran is tied for sixth with a 2-over, 146.  Ward sits just one stroke behind Duran's pace in a tie for seventh place.

Current Ram Sarah Anast ranks sixth in the second flight with a two-round total of 159 (+15). 

Play resumes with the final round beginning Thursday at 7:30 a.m.
