Rams at the Cowgirl Classic...
The last time the Rams played in the Cowgirl Classic was in 2010 when they posted a third place finish. The team ended up only two-strokes out of second place.
Espinoza led the way for the Rams in 2010. She posted her best finish of her career to that point, a fifth place tie. Besides Espinoza, the only Ram returning to the Cowgirl Classic is Krefting who finished 75th in 2010.
Juli Inkster Spartan Invitational...
The Rams struggled in the first-two rounds last week at the MountainView Collegiate in Tucson, Ariz., but they came on strong to finish out the tournament on a high note in the final round. The team gained some much needed confidence heading into this week after posting a 293 in the third round, one of the day's lowest team total.
Espinoza finished tied for 13th and posted her season-best three-round total of 218. Kelly and Krefting each posted a 230 (+14). Roering carded a 238 (+22) and Spinzig shot a 228 (+12) as an individual.
