Last Round...
At the Westbrook Spring Invitational played at the Westbrook Village Golf Club in Peoria, Ariz., the Rams finished 12th out of 14 teams, but put together their best tournament in years. The Rams tallied three-round total of 883, their lowest since October of 2011. CSU recorded three sub 295 rounds for the first time since September of 2009. Senior Christina Spinzig paced the Rams with a 54-hole total of 220, the best performance of her career, and freshman Elisabeth Rau carded a 222, the lowest score by a CSU freshman since 2010-11 when current senior Betsy Kelly shot a 213 in the Mountain West Championships.

Returning Rams...
Colorado State returns one of their most experienced group of players in many years. The 2013-14 roster is made up of four seniors (Emily Roering, Christina Spinzig, Sarah Roering and Betsy Kelly), one junior (Jessa LaBarbera) and a pair of sophomores (Mikayla Tatman and Haley King) with collegiate playing experience.  New to the CSU women’s golf program is Elisabeth Rau, from Irving, Texas, and Yesong Han out of Yuma, Ariz.

Ferguson named the best...
Former CSU women’s golfer, Stefanie Ferguson was voted the Best Instructor for Women by Colorado AvidGolfer Magazine at the beginning of the February. Ferguson was a team captain for the Rams while competing from 2005 to 2009. She is now the LPGA Lead Instructor at Green Valley Ranch Golf Academy in Denver, Colo.
