FORT COLLINS, Colo.-- Colorado State basketball fans will have the opportunity to see two rivalry games on one night, for one low price.
For the first time in recent history, the men's and women's teams will play the University of Colorado as a doubleheader. The women will play Wednesday, Dec. 8, at 5:30 p.m., while the men's game will be shortly after at 8 p.m. Both games are being played at the Coors Events Center in Boulder, Colo.
Fans interested in cheering on the Green and Gold on the road can purchase a ticket package that includes both games for just $15. The package includes a general-admission ticket to the women's game, and a reserved seat to see the men play.
The contest between CSU and CU is always one of the marquee games of the season, featuring rivals that are separated by just 53 miles. To add to the rivalry, Colorado's men's team is currently receiving votes in the Associated Press Top 25 poll. Last season, when the Buffaloes visited Moby Arena, both the CSU men and women came away victorious. The men's 77-62 triumph in front of 5,293 fans led to a memorable win with many in attendance rushing the court to celebrate the victory with the players. On the women's side, the Rams overcame a 16-point deficit to beat the Buffs 69-61.
Tickets can be purchased in person at the McGraw Athletic Center during normal business hours or over the phone by calling 1-800-491-RAMS.
