FORT COLLINS, Colo. -
The Colorado State women's basketball team has invited the public to its Alumni Tailgate at Saturday's Homecoming football game. The tailgate party is from 1-3 p.m., with kickoff following at 3:30. The entire team will be on hand along with alumni from years past to celebrate Colorado State women's hoops and help in cheering on the football team.
The festivities will take place in Spot No. 4 of the tailgate area in RamTown on the south side of Hughes Stadium. The public is welcome to come meet the student-athletes and mingle with the coaches. Drawings for door prizes will be held to give away items such as team autographed basketballs and T-shirts. And, a basketball hoop will be set up for fans to take a shot with the Rams to win other prizes, such as basketballs and tickets to games.
A barbeque spread also is offered if fans are hungry and would like to eat with the team. Fans who would like to eat with the Rams are asked to please RSVP to Matt Klein, director of women's basketball operations, at 970/222-7196, or email@example.com.
The team also would like to invite fans to mark down Oct. 14 on their calendars. On that date, at 5 p.m. following practice, the Rams will host a personal meet `n' greet at Moby Arena. The public is welcome to stop by and meet the student-athletes in a personal setting, and get a chance to tour the locker room area, which features a new Wall of Champions that honors the rich history of Colorado State women's basketball.
So, join the Rams for a day filled with food, prizes, fun and a football win.
