FORT COLLINS, Colo. - The Colorado State women's basketball program has added Katrina Ottesen to its fall roster. Head Coach Ryun Williams made the announcement Monday.
A native of Chandler, Ariz., Ottesen will join the Rams from Central Arizona Junior College to begin her junior season.
"Katrina comes to CSU from one of the best Junior College programs in the country and was extremely well coached while at Central Arizona," commented Williams.
Ottesen, a third-team All-American, led the Vaqueras in scoring last season, averaging 15.1 points and 2.3 assists per game. She also made a team-high 84 three-pointers.
"Katrina is an outstanding young lady with a great ability to shoot and score the basketball," said Williams. "She really understands how to play and will be a great addition to CSU basketball."
Ottesen is the final addition to the Rams' 2012-13 lineup.
