Strecker Named To WNIT All-Tournament Team

Colorado State senior center Shannon Strecker was named to the Women's NIT All-Tournament team after four great performances during the tournament.

Strecker averaged a team-best 14.0 points and 8.0 rebounds for the tournament, scoring in double figures in all four games and recording two double-doubles. She also shot .615 from the field and tallied five blocked shots and four steals in the four contests. Strecker ends her career at Colorado State as the leader in field goal percentage and she set the single-season record this year, becoming the first Ram in school history to shoot over 60 percent for the year (.608 -- minimum 100 makes).

Strecker was joined on the team by MVP Natasha Brackett and Tia Miller from the championship team, Auburn. Also on the squad were Sophia Young and Steffanie Blackmon from Baylor and Laura Spanheimer from Creighton.
