Colorado State’s men’s and women’s basketball teams conclude the home portion of the 2013 season this week, and there is plenty in store for Ram fans.
Wednesday night, Colorado State’s women’s team takes on Wyoming at 6 p.m. in a “Border War” doubleheader, with the men’s team playing in Laramie at 8 p.m. (ROOT Sports: Channel 26-Comcast; Channel 683-DirecTV, Channel 414-Dish Network).
The Rams and women’s coach Ryun Williams will honor departing senior Meghan Heimstra before the game, and fans can gather autographs from the players following the game on the court.
Fans are also encouraged to wear green as part of a “Green Out” promotion for the game with Wyoming.
Saturday is the final home game for five seniors on Colorado State’s men’s team. Dorian Green, Wes Eikmeier, Pierce Hornung, Colton Iverson, and Greg Smith will be honored during postgame ceremonies on the court, after the Rams 6:30 p.m. game with Nevada.
It’s also a Green Out game Saturday. CSU officials said Monday tickets for the final men’s game are moving quickly as the attendance moves toward a fourth sellout this season.
