Second Season

Megan Mardesen begins her second year with the Colorado State women's basketball staff after two seasons as an assistant women's basketball coach at Southwest Minnesota State University. She assists the team in the film coordinator position.

While Mardesen was an assistant coach at Southwest Minnesota State University, she was a film coordinator responsible for film editing, film exchange, camera and recording equipment set up for home games, and editing and creating the team's introduction and highlight videos. Mardesen's duties as assistant coach encompassed academic liaison, recruiting, travel coordinator, compliance, equipment, event planner, fundraising, coaching duties, social media, and scheduling.

Mardesen is a 2009 graduate from Wayne State College where she received a degree in psychology. While obtaining her degree she was also the student assistant women's basketball coach until she graduated, then she became a volunteer assistant coach at the University of South Dakota for one season and helped as an equipment manager during the season after. She received her master's degree from Southwest Minnesota State University in 2012.
