Maize High School: Attended Maize High School in Maize, Kan...was a four sport athlete, lettering four times in basketball and in track, twice in cross country and once in tennis...was basketball team captain her junior and senior years...named to the all-league team for basketball in 2002 and 2003...earned all-city first team honors in 2002 and 2003...All-State honorable mention in basketball in 2002 and 2003...helped her high school basketball team to a league and sub-state title in 2003...was a three-time 6A Kansas state champion in track and field in both the 1600m and 800m...holds four school records in track...in 2003 was named Greater Wichita Area Sports Commission's Lynette Woodward Female Athlete of the Year and was also inducted into the Biddy Basketball Hall of Fame.
