Fort Collins, Colo. – The Colorado State University Men’s Golf Head Coach Jamie Bermel announced Wednesday the signing of two golfers to National Letters of Intent. Zenon Brown and Riley Arp have both committed to golf at Colorado State beginning in the fall of 2005.

Brown is a native of Arvada, Colo. and will graduate from Pomona High School in 2005. “Zenon should make an immediate impact on the team; he has a lot of playing experience at the state and national level,” said Bermel. “He is a big kid, 6’2” and 205 lbs., and he hit the ball hard and is very exciting to watch.”

Arp is a local product, having played three sports at Poudre High School in Fort Collins. “Riley could be one of the best athletes I have ever signed,” said Bermel. “Although still a little inexperienced in golf, having been a three-sport athlete in high school, he has a chance to become a very good college player.”

Bermel added, “I think these two young men will have great careers at CSU. I am really excited to have them join us next fall.”
