Men's golf preview: Brickyard Collegiate

Next On The Tee The Rams, after a stellar performance at the Mark Simpson Invitational, will be looking for their first team win of the year, as they head down to Macon, Georgia to battle some of the toughest competition in college golf. Senior Kirby Pettitt will look to continue his strong play after posting a -14 and claiming the Mark Simpson Invitational, while Parker Edens and Kory Harrell will look to keep their consistent play going. Play will begin at 6:30 a.m. MT time Friday through Sunday. The Course Constructed in 1961, The Brickyard at Riverside Golf Club was redesigned by tour professional Mark McCumber in 2005. From the championship tees, the course measures 7,128 yards. Mark McCumber's goal was to create eighteen unique holes each of which could arguably be considered "signature holes." The Field The Rams (63) competition will consist of defending champion Georgia Tech (8), North Florida (13), Georgia (24), Oklahoma (26), Chattanooga (32), Augusta State (44), Virginia Tech (46), College of Charleston (90), Mercer (92), South Florida (97), Georgia State (114), Kansas (131), Air Force (156) and Princeton (179). *() Golf Weekly Ranking Starting Lineup The Rams will send Kirby Pettitt, Parker Edens, Kory Harrell, Cameron Harrell and Jordan Wetsch into battle as Colorado State will look to capture its first team win.
