Sunriver, Ore. - The Colorado State men?s golf team placed 15th in the 27 team field at the NCAA West Regional in Sunriver, Ore.
The Rams tallied a final round of 314 causing the team to slip four spots on the final day.
Senior Martin Laird was the top finisher for the Rams. He finished with a total score of 220, nine strokes behind first place finishers Travis Johnson from UCLA and Chris Nallen from Arizona. Laird and Kevin McAlpine both shot 5-over-par on the day.
Senior Nolan Martin finished his stellar career for the Rams with a 79. Nate Pettitt posted a score of 81 and John Hayes tallied an 83 to round out the Ram lineup.
Colorado State finishes the season with more team and individual honors than any other year in school history.
