Men's golf recap: CSU struggles at Brickyard Collegiate

Gavin Davis MACON, Ga.- Through two rounds at the fifth annual Brickyard Collegiate, Colorado State is tied in 12th place with a 300-301--601 (+25). Zahkai Brown dropped 19 spots from Round 1 to a shared spot at 27th shooting a 6-over par 78 in Round 2. Mike Sorenson is also tied in 27th place after 36 holes of competition. Sorenson was 3-over in Round 2 combining for a 73-75--148 (+4). Kirby Pettitt is one stroke behind Brown and Sorenson at 149 (+5) and is tied in 35th. Parker Edens is tied in 68th place with a 79-77--156 (+12). K.C. Chang struggles to find his rhythm in his first tournament for CSU. Chang has combined for an 87-81--168 (+24) and is in 84th place. Georgia Tech has a commanding lead in the 15-team field. They are 11-under with a 565 and have three golfers in the top-10 individually. Florida State is in second place with a 284-294--578 (+2).
