Day 1 Results
Fort Collins, Colo.- The Rams finished day one of the first annual Ram Master Invitational with a team score of 572 (+12) good for sole possession of third place. Colorado State started play with a 287 in the first round, and ended the day with a 285 in the second round.
CSU's senior Kory Harrell gave the Rams quite a boost after shooting a 67 (-3) in the first round, and now sits in second place overall after solid 72 (+2) in the second round. Junior Parker Edens began the day with a 71 (+1) and ended play with a 72 (+2), good enough for a tie in eighth place. Fellow Ram Jordan Wetsch, who is competing as an individual, also ended the day in a tie for eighth after a two round total of 143 (+3) which included an even par first round.
Senior Kirby Pettitt ended the day with a two round total of 144 (+4), bouncing back from a first round score of 73 (+3) with a one over par (71) in the second round, good for a tie in 12th. Sophomore Cameron Harrell finished the day with a 146 (+6), while freshman Brett Wilson finished with a 154 (+14).
Playing as individuals, freshman Dominic Kieffer completed play with a 148 (+8), while senior K.C. Chang ended the day with a two round total of 152 (+12) in his first action of the year. Colorado State currently trails the University of Nevada and Wichita State, who ended day one with scores of 566 (+6) and 571 (+11) respectively.
