Ron Moore Invitational - Day 2 | Individual Tournament Results - Day 2

GOODYEAR, Ariz. - The Colorado State men's golf team moved up three spots and into fourth place after two rounds of play at the Ron Moore Invitational on Saturday.  The team was tied for seventh on Friday after one round of play, and shot 279 in Round 2 for a total of 564.

Zen Brown and Dustin Morris lead the Rams both tied for 15th place and 4-under-par, 140.  Brown was tied for 32nd after Round 1, but came back to shoot a second round 68, tying his season-low total to jump up 17 spots.  Morris carded a 70, 2-under-par, for a two-round total of 140, securing the tie for 15th. 

Sophomore Bryce Hanstad shot a second round 2-under par, 70 and is tied for 25th place.  Riley Arp sits at even par tied for 32nd to round out the scoring for the Rams.  Sean McNamara is tied for 55th with a two-round total of 147.

In the team tournament, the University of San Diego holds first place and Troy Merritt of Boise State sits atop the leader board at, 13-under-par.

In the individual tournament, Ryan Peterson carded a 77 in the second round and missed the cut to 16 individuals, finishing in 21st with a two-round total of 152 (+8).  

The final 18 holes of the tournament will be played Sunday beginning at 8 a.m. MST.
