PHOENIX, Ariz. – Riley Arp turned in a low score of 68 on Saturday at the Stonecreek Golf Club to lead the Colorado State men’s golf team in a 280-292 victory over Paradise Valley Community College. The dual was scheduled to make up for the day lost to rain at the Alister Mackenzie Invitational in October.

Head Coach Jamie Bermel thought it was a good way to begin the spring season.

“It was good to get out to Phoenix, compete, knock off a little rust and hopefully we’ll be ready to go next week,” Bermel said.

Sunday the Rams will be in Newport Coast, Calif., competing in the Battle at the Beach as they resume tournament play for the spring season.
