Personal- Born 10/15/81 in Carroll, Iowa to Todd and Pam Pettitt... Studying Business Finance and Accounting at Colorado State... Married to Sarah Pettitt a student at CSU... Has five brothers and six sisters... Hobbies include church activities, basketball, watching TV and reading... Favorite food is fresh fruit.

2004-2005- In his junior year he competed in twelve tournaments... Had a season stoke average of 74.51... In the second round of the Radrick Farms Invitational he shot a 70 which was his lowest round of the season and led him to a tie for 54th... He also shot a 70 and the Cougar Classic which helped earn him a three-round total of 215 his lowest of the year... At the Pioneer classis he finished with a three-round total of 216 and tied for 21st place... His best finish in the fall season came at the Fresno "Lexus" Classic where he shot a three-round total of 218 to finish in a tie for 28th place... His lone top-10 finish came at the end of the year where the stakes were high at the Mountain West Conference Championships... His three-round total of 218 led him to a tie for 9th place at the MWC Championships... Was named an All-Academic American... Was named an All-Academic conference member... His career stroke average is 75.10

2003-2004 One of four new Rams to join the team in 2003, Pettitt put together a fine season... played in the first four events of the fall and finished the fall with an average of 75.67... finished in the top 20 at the Ron Moore tournament where he finished tied for 19th following a total of 220... also played well in the Fresno "Lexus" Classic where he finished with a total of 233 and finished tied for 48th... best round was a 71 coming in the second round of the Ron Moore tournament... in the spring season he played in the four tournaments and finished the year with a 75.96 average... his best finish came at the Mountain West Conference Championships where he shot a three-round total of 225 to earn a tie for 20th place... earned two top 20 finished in the 2003-2004 season and finished with a 75.67 career stroke average.

Carroll High School Lettered four times in golf, three times in basketball and twice in baseball... 1997 and 1998 Junior Tour Player of the Year... named MVP of golf team senior year... finished fourth in the state championship in 1997... medalist honors at 2000 Iowa state championships... led team to Raccoon River Conference Championship in 1997, 1998, and 2000... held Carroll record for lowest stroke average... earned second team all-conference honors in 2000... named to all-district all-academic team for both golf and basketball... member of National Honor Society... graduated seventh in his class.
