For the final time in their collegiate football careers, 15 Colorado State seniors will suit up in green-and-gold Rams uniforms Saturday for the 2012 season finale.
Colorado State plays host to New Mexico at 5 p.m. Saturday to end the season. When the game takes place, Coach Jim McElwain and the athletics department will honor the seniors and their families during pregame ceremonies.

"These players have meant a great deal to our program," McElwain said. "They have been important to lay the foundation for what we want to accomplish moving forward. They are a special group, and a group that I will always remember as my first group as a head coach."
The list of seniors runs the gamut, from former walk-on quarterback M.J. McPeek, who has started three games this season, to Pete Kontodiakos, who ranks among the nation's leaders in punting.
From Austin Gillmore, another former walk-on who joined his brother Crockett at Colorado State, to Davis Burl, whose grandfather was one of the most legendary student-athletes in school history.
Lineman Joe Caprioglio is a three-year starter for the Rams and has anchored the offensive line. Wide receiver Marquise Law has come into his own as a senior at Colorado State. Defensive backs Immanuel Mitchell and Marcus Shaw have seen playing time in the secondary, while teammate Momo Thomas was a four-year starter at cornerback and as a return specialist.
Defensive end Broderick Sargent was the first recipient of the Keli McGregor Award for leadership, integrity and athletic and academic excellence, and plays his final game Saturday.
Since McElwain's arrival at Colorado State last winter, linebacker James Skelton has emerged as a team leader, though he'll miss Saturday's finale with an ankle injury, as will Thomas. Running back Mark Woodbury has been a solid special teams performer and backup for the Rams, while Dominque Vinson has played both wide receiver and defensive back in his career.
Defensive lineman Zach Tiedgen is a two-year letterwinner who has been a starter during his career, and has overcome an early-season injury to finish his final season in a key role on the line.
Saturday's game also closes the career for defensive lineman Lanston Tanyi, who transferred to Colorado State after having completed his eligibility at Applachian State, and is currently working on a graduate degree.
