Mountain Dew cans get fans into Saturday's football game
Nov. 10, 2008
By Zak Gilbert FORT COLLINS, Colo. - Remember the commercial that featured a live ram bashing heads with a man over a Mountain Dew? Well, Mountain Dew and rams - the Colorado State Rams -- are teaming up again to bring fans to Saturday's final home football game. This week, fans can purchase a specially marked can of Mountain Dew and exchange it for a buy-one/get-one-free ticket to the Rams' battle against New Mexico Saturday at Sonny Lubick Field at Hughes Stadium. Kickoff is at 12 noon. Cans are available wherever Mountain Dew is sold in Colorado. Cans for tickets exchanges can be made Monday-Friday at the McGraw Athletic Center ticket office, or at the Hughes Stadium ticket booths on game day. The offer is only valid with Mountain Dew cans that have the special coupon printed on the can. They can't be combined with another promotion, and there's a limit of one can per person.
