FORT COLLINS, Colo. - Colorado State's football program, fresh off a resounding 23-17 win at intrastate rival Colorado from the Big 12, is receiving votes in both national polls released Tuesday morning.

The Rams picked up four votes in the Associated Press poll and one in the USA Today coaches poll. The last time CSU earned votes was after defeating Weber State on Sept. 13, 2003, the week of an eventual loss to Ben Roethlisberger and Miami (Ohio).

Incidentally, CSU also hosts Weber State this weekend in the Rams' home opener. Tickets are available at, in the McGraw Athletic Center ticket office, or by calling 1-800/491-RAMS.
