CSU fans still have an opportunity to purchase single-game tickets to any Rams home game

CSU fans still have an opportunity to purchase single-game tickets to any Rams home game

Aug. 24, 2010

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – CSU student-section tickets for the Sept. 4 Cinch Jeans Rocky Mountain Showdown have sold out, but students are still welcome at the game and invited to sit in the public sections.

In fact, plenty of seats are still available, from suites and lower-bowl seats to the upper-deck sideline tickets.

CU game tickets
CSU fans still have an opportunity to purchase single-game tickets to any Rams home game, including the Cinch Jeans Rocky Mountain Showdown in Denver.

However, in order to sit on the sidelines in the lower bowl at that Sept. 4 contest at Invesco Field, fans must first join the Ram Club for as little as $100 per year. Lower-bowl sideline tickets in Denver have a $90 face value.

But fans can save nearly 40 percent off that CU game sideline ticket by purchasing CSU season tickets. For information on purchasing season tickets, call 1-800/491-RAMS.

Ram Club membership is very affordable, starting at just $100 per year, with the option of $25 quarterly installments. The Ram Club, with 2,000 members nationwide, funds student-athlete scholarships at CSU.

Additional Invesco Field options are a $65 lower-bowl seat in the end zone, a $110 club-level seat, or a $55 seat in the upper deck. Suite tickets also are available for $165.

CSU season-ticket holders, Ram Club members or family of CSU players can purchase CU game tickets through the Rams ticket office (1-800/491-RAMS, or CSURams.com/tickets). All other fans should purchase their Rocky Mountain Showdown tickets through TicketMaster, at ticketmaster.com.

The face value of all CU game tickets does not include a $5 processing fee.

Invesco suites available
Great suites also are still available for the CU game. Suite tickets are $165 and suites seat 15-56. For more information on purchasing suites, call Kristi Bohlender in the athletic development office at 970/491-2048.

Single-game tickets in Fort Collins
The Sept. 25 Orange Out contest kicks off a five-game Fort Collins home schedule that also includes a pair of opponents expected to be ranked in the nation’s top 25: TCU and BYU. The Rams also welcome to town former CU assistant Bobby Hauck and his UNLV Rebels for a homecoming battle (Oct. 16). Idaho (Sept. 25), TCU (Oct. 2) and BYU (Nov. 13) all were in bowls at the end of last year.

Sideline tickets to either of the two premium games on the schedule, TCU and UNLV, are $40 for adults. The adult sideline price for any of the other contests, Idaho, BYU or New Mexico (Oct. 30), is $30.

Adults can purchase tickets in the north end zone, for any game, for just $25.

Youth (ages 3-17) tickets in any section other than the donor-seating areas, are just $15 to any game.

Fans interested in benefits from purchasing season tickets, including free parking and other savings, can visit CSURams.com/tickets, or call 1-800/491-RAMS, for more information.

Ticket fees consist of $15 per order on season tickets (no limit on quantity), $2 for print-at-home single-game tickets, $5 for will call or $5 for mailing.

How to purchase tickets
Season tickets, single-game tickets and mini-plans are available for purchase in one of three ways: 1) Online at CSURams.com/tickets, 2) over the phone by calling 1-800/491-RAMS, or 3) in person during normal business hours at the McGraw Athletic Center on the CSU campus, west of Moby Arena.

Mini-plans also on sale
For both football and volleyball, the athletic department is offering attractive mini-plans.

Fans have two options for football: The Pick 3 and the Kickoff Combo.

The Pick 3 plan allows fans to select tickets to three games of their choice (any game except the CU and UNLV contests) and receive one sideline ticket to each of those three games for only $66.

The Kickoff Combo includes both an upper-level ticket to the Rocky Mountain Showdown against CU and a Sept. 25 Ag Day/Orange Out ticket in the north end zone against Idaho, for only $70. The face value of the CU ticket is $55.

What’s more, the popular Pepsi 4-Packs also return in 2010. For just $80, fans will receive four tickets, four hot dogs and four soft drinks. Plus, by placing an order at least 10 days in advance of the game, fans will receive a free parking pass (orange lot) as part of the Pepsi package. Pepsi 4-Packs aren’t available for the TCU or UNLV contests.

Volleyball mini-plans available
The Rams begin their quest for a 16th consecutive NCAA tournament berth with the Coors Rocky Mountain Challenge Friday against Duke at Moby Arena.

The athletic department is offering a Pick 6 plan for volleyball, allowing fans to select six matches of their choice and receive one general-admission ticket to those selected matches for only $30.

Pepsi 4-Packs for volleyball, priced at just $30, include four tickets, four hot dogs and four soft drinks to any of the following matches: Aug. 27 vs. Duke, Sept. 11 vs. Northeastern, Sept. 17 vs. Long Beach State, Sept. 30 vs. San Diego State, Oct. 20 vs. Denver, Nov. 6 vs. Air Force or Nov. 24 vs. Utah.
