Single-game tickets on sale July 7

By Nick Sebesta FORT COLLINS, Colo. - Only weeks away from Coach Steve Fairchild's debut as head coach of the Colorado State Rams, fans will soon be able to purchase single-game tickets for the 2008 football season. Single-game tickets for home Colorado State football games and regular seat tickets for the Qwest Rocky Mountain Showdown go on sale July 7 at 8:00 a.m. Regular tickets for the Qwest Rocky Mountain Showdown against the University of Colorado go on sale July 7. Club seats are $85, while reserved seats will be $55, for the annual game being held at Invesco Field at Mile High in Denver. Tickets will be available through CSURAMS.com, 800/491-RAMS, any TicketsWest location and at the McGraw Athletic Center ticket box office. Colorado State plays six games at home, including non-conference opponents, Sacramento State and Houston. Conference foes such as UNLV, TCU, BYU and New Mexico will also be coming to Fort Collins. Four of the teams coming to play at Sonny Lubick Field at Hughes Stadium played in bowl games in the 2007 season. For home games, Ram fans have a variety of different ways to see their favorite team. Mini-plans will also be available July 7 giving fans a chance to pick three home games in the north end zone (excluding Qwest Rocky Mountain Showdown) for $66. TCU and BYU are premium games and tickets for the west sideline are $40 each. All other single game tickets will be $30 each. Group sales of 20 or more will be able to sit in the north end zone for $20 apiece. For groups of 25 or more, tickets will be available in the north end zone and will come with coupons for a hotdog, soda and a free CSU t-shirt.
