FORT COLLINS, Colo. – With anticipation growing for the coming football season, CSU has added Dillon Holliam, Travis Ford and Cam Loughery to its roster, Head Coach Steve Fairchild announced Thursday.

Holliam, a 6-foot-1, 189-pound true freshman from Hazelwood West High School in suburban St. Louis, Mo., was a captain and his team’s MVP as both a junior and senior. A safety, he also was a star track athlete for his high school, and was a Missouri state qualifier in the 200 meters.

Ford, a 6-foot-3, 205-pound safety out of Laney Community College in California, is a junior-college transfer who will add speed to the Rams’ defense. Ford, a junior on the CSU roster, was the second-leading tackler at Laney and also added two sacks, two interceptions and three quarterback hurries. To go along with those impressive numbers, Ford was timed at 4.56 in the 40-yard dash. Sickness kept him from completing his required academics at Laney last fall, preventing him from joining the Rams on National Signing Day in February.

Loughery, a 6-foot-1, 215-pound true freshman from Atlanta, Ga., was a star linebacker at Holy Innocents Episcopal School, where he was the Region 5-A Defensive Player of the Year in addition to other all-region and all-state honors. A key figure on the baseball, basketball and track teams at Holy Innocents, he set the school record in the shot put with a 43-foot effort. His grandfather, Kevin Sr., is the legendary NBA head coach whose teams included Julius Erving, Dominique Wilkins and Michael Jordan.
