FORT COLLINS, Colo. - The Pacific-12 Conference on Thursday announced Colorado State's season opener against in-state rival Colorado on Aug. 29 will kick off at 7 p.m. MT and will be televised on Fox Sports 1.

The Rocky Mountain Showdown was moved to Friday, Aug. 29, in April to accommodate a national television audience. This is the 20th consecutive season the annual meeting between the Rams and Buffs has been showcased on national television.

The Rams' summer strength and conditioning program begins June 2 and runs through the 25th. Players will report for preseason camp on Sunday, Aug. 3, with CSU's first practice on Monday, Aug. 4.
