FORT COLLINS, Colo. - The Colorado State football coaching staff wants to invite the CSU community to spend an evening with the top college coaches in Colorado while at the same time supporting Respite Care, Inc., of Fort Collins.

The Colorado Coaches for Charity fundraising event on May 15 at INVESCO Field at Mile High will feature coaches from the top programs in the state, as well as legendary coach Fisher DeBerry. Also in attendance, as the honorary chairmen for the night, will be former Denver Broncos receiver Ed McCaffrey, Mountain West Conference commissioner Craig Thompson, former Denver Broncos general manager Ted Sundquist and sports broadcaster Irv Brown.

The night's festivities will include food, drinks, words from all of the coaches and a highlight video, as well as a silent and live auction. The general cocktail party will begin at 6:30 p.m. and the dinner will take place from 7:30-9 p.m.

Every charity represented by a coach at the event will receive a grant from the Fisher DeBerry Foundation. Respite Care of Fort Collins has been chosen by CSU Head Coach Steve Fairchild and his staff as their charity of choice. In addition, a portion of every ticket sold by CSU's staff will benefit Respite Care.

Respite Care, Inc., offers a home-style atmosphere for children with developmental disabilities 24 hours a day, seven days per week. The facility cares for those under 21 years of age, for up to two weeks at a time, offering unconditional support and attention for every unique child. More information about the organization can be found at its Web site.

Individual tickets to the event are $125, while $1,250 sponsors an entire table of 10. Those wishing to share a table with a coach or VIP guest can do so by upgrading their sponsorship level. To purchase tickets or tables, please e-mail Amy Maybon from FirstBank, a supporting sponsor of the event.

More information on the event can be found on the Colorado Coaches for Charity Web site, or by calling 877/35-COACH (352-6224).
