FORT COLLINS, Colo.—Twelve former Rams worked out in front of NFL scouts Wednesday at the annual Pro Day.

Athletes who participated were CSU LB Mychal Sisson, RB Raymond Carter, OL Paul Madsen, WR T.J. Borcky, OL Jake Gdowski, RB Derek Good, S Ivory Herd, DT Nuku Latu, WR Matt Yemm, DT James Morehead, RB John Mosure, and RB Leonard Mason, and OT Lee Barbiasz from Northern Colorado.

The scouts that ran the event were from several NFL teams including the Raiders, Packers, Bills, Titans, Broncos, Chiefs, Texans and 49ers.

The event began in the academic and training center where the scouts recorded each player’s height, weight, hand size and wingspan. The players were then tested for vertical jump, broad jump and bench press.

Athletes, scouts and other onlookers then headed to the indoor practice facility for the 40-yard dash, 5-10-5 shuttle, three-cone drill, long shuttle and individual workouts.

Carter measured in at 5 feet, 11.75 inches and 217 pounds. He had a 36.5-inch vertical jump, 9 foot, 10 inches in the broad jump and a personal-best 26 reps of 225 pounds. Once in the indoor practice facility, Carter ran the 40 in 4.47, the 20 in 2.62 and the 10 in 1.53.

“I had a pretty good day,” Carter said. “I’m happy with my performance. I was just watching the Combine, watching the running backs there, and I was just trying to compete. (My bench) put me in the top four so I think I did okay.”

Sisson, who suffered a broken ankle early in his senior season, recorded 16 reps on the bench, 7 feet, 10 inches in the long jump, and an unofficial time of 4.90 in the 40.

“For me, it showed that I can come back from an injury and can move like I did before,” Sisson said. “That was the main worry with a lot of scouts, just talking to them and talking to my agent about it today just wondering how I am and how I’m feeling and if my ankle’s good enough for me to go into OTA (Organized Team Activities) or camp, so I showed them that it is good to go.”

Latu had a Pro Day high of 27 reps on the bench, while Gdowski and Mason both had 26. Madsen and Barbiasz had 24 reps.

For the vertical jump, Good had an impressive 37-inches and a 4.65 in the 40. Yemm jumped 9 feet in the long jump and had a 4.71 in the 40.

Herd had a 4.89 in the 40 and Mosure had a 4.80.

The NFL Draft will take place April 26-28 in New York City.
