FORT COLLINS, Colo. - Joining the Ram Club, for as little as $100 per year, guarantees lower-bowl seating for the annual showdown with the CU Buffs at Invesco Field in September.

Football season-ticket packages, most of which include the CU game in Denver, go on sale Monday. And with the implementation of the new Ram Point System, fans have the opportunity to increase their Ram Points by renewing their Ram Club membership and season tickets. The Ram Point System will be used when allocating tickets for the CU game at Invesco Field, as well as for all future bowl games. For more information on Ram Points, contact the Ram Club office at 970/491-4666.

40-percent savings and lower-bowl seating
That's not all. By purchasing season tickets and joining the Ram Club, fans will save nearly 40 percent off the face value of a lower-bowl ticket to the CU game in Denver.

Ram Club membership is very affordable, starting at just $100 per year, with the option of $25 quarterly installments. The Ram Club, with 2,000 members nationwide, supports student-athlete scholarships. To learn more about the benefits of Ram Club membership visit the Ram Club Web site at www.csuramclub.com, or call 970/491-4666.

How to purchase season tickets
The CU game is back in Denver, and back in the Rams' football season-ticket packages.

CSU football season tickets, including five contests at Sonny Lubick Field at Hughes Stadium, go on sale Monday. The Rams also will host TCU and BYU, the nation's respective No. 6 and No. 12 teams at the end of last season, as well as Idaho, which won its 2009 bowl game in dramatic fashion.

Season tickets can be purchased one of three ways, the easiest of which is on the football tickets page at CSURams.com, 24 hours a day, beginning Monday. Tickets also are available during normal business hours by calling 1-800/491-RAMS or stopping by the CSU ticket office in the McGraw Athletic Center.

Free Invesco parking
What's more, any Ram Club season-ticket holder has two opportunities to receive free parking for the CU game. First, any member with season tickets who purchases at least four additional tickets to the CU game receives a complimentary Invesco Field parking pass. Second, Ram Club members who purchase season tickets and upgrade one donor level also receive a free parking pass for the Denver contest.
Parking passes are in the CSU section northwest of the stadium. Last year, that pass was a $20 value.

Other benefits
In addition to benefits related to having the CU game back in Denver, the CSU athletic department is offering fans that purchase season tickets and join the Ram Club several additional perks, including:

  • Free parking: A Ram Club season-ticket holder who upgrades two donor levels will receive free parking for both the game in Denver and games in Fort Collins.
  • Free T-shirt: Season-ticket holders will have an opportunity to receive a free T-shirt or a large discount on a hooded sweatshirt with a minimal purchase at the CSU Bookstore.
  • Exclusive access: Both season-ticket holders and Ram Club members have access to exclusive events, such as CSU's first annual Football 101 for Women, hosted by Steve and Nancy Fairchild in April. Plus, Ram Club members get in free to a closed practice in August at Hughes Stadium.

Student tickets for CU game
Student tickets for the CU game will go on sale July 19, and will be available only online at CSURAMS.com. And, in conjunction with the Associated Students of Colorado State University (ASCSU), the university again is expected to offer round-trip bus transportation for an affordable fee to be determined ($10 in the recent past). Student ticket prices and guest prices will be announced in coming months.

Payment plan
In an effort to make purchasing season tickets easier for fans in today's economy, CSU again is offering payment plans, allowing fans to pay for season tickets in equal installments.

Like last year, fans will be able to spread their payment for season tickets over the spring and summer, depending on date of purchase.

To do so, fans need to complete a payment plan authorization form, available beginning Monday at http://csurams.cstv.com/tickets/fbtixinfo.html.

Depending on date of purchase, fans can authorize CSU athletics to charge their MasterCard or Visa in equal monthly installments until the balance is paid.

Fans need to have their balance paid in full by July 30, in order to receive their season tickets.

The schedule
CSU lost to TCU and BYU by a combined nine points, in a pair of thrilling games, the last time each team came to Fort Collins in 2008. In addition to those teams, which figure to be nationally ranked again when they return, new UNLV head coach Bobby Hauck, a Rick Neuheisel assistant at CU in the 1990s, makes his first trip to Fort Collins with the Rebels in 2010. The Rams also host an Ag Day Fort Collins opener against Idaho (Sept. 25), which successfully converted a two-point attempt to secure a last-second win at the Dec. 30 Humanitarian Bowl, 43-42.

At this time, CSU knows only the dates of its non-conference opponents. The Mountain West Conference, whose athletic directors have chosen to wait to release the full conference schedule until all dates, kickoff times and television broadcasts are established, expects to announce that schedule no later than April 1.

New season-ticket holders
For fans who didn't purchase season tickets in 2009 but plan to in 2010, those seats will go on sale Monday.

Fans will be able to purchase tickets online at CSURams.com, over the phone by calling 1-800/491-RAMS, or by visiting the McGraw Athletic Center ticket office during normal business hours.
Seat location will not be determined until after the renewal deadline has passed. Seat locations will be assigned in June.

Purchasing season tickets before the renewal deadline will place fans on a priority seating list. Seat location priority will first be given to Ram Club members, then to other orders as they are received. So, the earlier someone buys season tickets, the better seats they will receive.

Early renewals for 2009 season-ticket holders
Those fans that held season tickets in 2009 will be able to renew on CSURams.com beginning Monday.

Last year's season-ticket holders will receive their customer ID number and their PIN number in the mail. Season-ticket holders will need that information to log into the renewal page online.

Again in 2010, CSU athletics will conduct an online sweepstakes with special prizes for 2009 season-ticket holders to encourage early renewals. More information on that contest will be available early next week on CSURams.com.

Paper invoices will be mailed in March. Current season-ticket holders can choose to participate in the payment plan for their orders; however, they will need to complete the authorization form (which will be mailed with their paper invoice).

Early Bird Family Plan special
Once again, CSU athletics is offering a special on family plan season tickets, an incentive to those who did not purchase season tickets last year.

From March 1-April 30, families can purchase an Early Bird Family Plan. The Early Bird Family Plan consists of two adult season tickets and two youth season tickets in the north end zone for only $280, an overall savings of $120. It does not include the CU game in Denver.

Family Plans can be adjusted according to the varying size of the fan's family. This promotion only is available to those new to the Rams' season-ticket fan base in 2010.

Single-game tickets
CSU is expected to announce single-game prices once the Mountain West releases its schedule, no later than April 1, when the athletic department has the opportunity to set special dates such as homecoming. Single-game tickets are not expected to go on sale until early July.

For more information, contact the CSU ticket office at 1-800/491-RAMS.
