FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Well, I'm excited to be able to give everyone back at CSU a behind-the-scenes look at what we're going through this week.

We leave tomorrow for the combine in Indy, and right now I'm just heading into a meeting here at Perfect Competition. It's a pretty intense training center down in the Miami area, where I work out with a bunch of current NFL players and guys like me, trying to get ready for their first combine. Gartrell Johnson and Caleb Hanie are down here with me.

They give us training down here in drills we'll do at the combine, so not only are we working out to just become stronger and faster in general, but we're also working on the specific drills we'll do this week in Indy.

I guess one thing most people don't realize is what type of preparations go into getting ready for the combine. It's intense, but I really appreciate the opportunity to work out down here.

There's not much excitement right now, just a lot of preparations. It's very business-like.

We won't know our full schedule until we get to Indy, but on some days we might be required to be somewhere doing something from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Other days won't be as busy. I'll try to keep you updated as much as I can.
