FORT COLLINS, Colo.--In the fall of 2010 the CSU community mourned the tragic loss of Anthony Cesario.
At 6-foot-6, 310 pounds, Cesario was everything a coach looks for in an offensive guard. The three-year starter, who routinely knocked down defensive linemen and prevented quarterback sacks, played for the Rams with determination and power. Since then, a group of Cesario’s family and friends have worked together to keep his memory alive.
The Cesario 72 Foundation was formed with the mission to work within the community to help others who signify what Cesario meant to all those he touched and influenced during his short but meaningful life. This group started the Anthony Cesario Memorial Scholarship, aimed to benefit a CSU football player who has faced hardship, exhibits exceptional personal traits or has made sacrifices in his life.
You can honor the former Ram by participating in the Cesario 72 Foundation’s upcoming Hunt and Gala events. Information about these events can be found by clicking on the links above.
