Coaching Accomplishments
• Helped lead Idaho State to 2002 Big Sky Conference Championship.
• ISU led the conference in scoring defense in 2002, was second in pass defense, and third in total defense.
• The Bengals boasted 10 all-conference defensive players in 2002.
• Seven players that he formerly coached during his career are currently playing in the NFL.
• Safety Benny Mastropaolo led Colorado State with 89 tackles in 2003 while Ben Stratton finished second on the team with 88 takedowns in the 2004 season.

Prominent Players Coached
• Eight players that he tutored prior to arriving at Colorado State were on NFL rosters in 2002.
• Nine position players since 1997 have earned first-team all-conference honors under his guidance.
• ISU's Jared Allen was an All-America selection in 2002, and has nearly 30 sacks in his first three NFL seasons.
• Cornerback Dexter Wynn became the first CSU player since 1995 to earn first team all-conference honors both as a defensive back and return specialist.
• Wynn was drafted in the fifth round by the NFL's Philadelphia Eagles.
• Coached Lamont Thompson while at Washington State when he set the Pac-10 record for interceptions.
