2012 (Senior): Appeared in all 12 games as a reserve cornerback and a major contributor to special teams. Shaw finished his senior year with nine tackles.

  • In the CSU home-opener vs. North Dakota State (Sept. 8), recorded a career-high four tackles.
  • Replaced an injured Momo Thomas in the secondary in the second half of the San Jose State (Sept. 15) game. Finished the game with one solo stop.
  • After seeing increased playing time due to a depleted CSU secondary, tallied two tackles on the road at Air Force (Sept. 29).
  • Recorded a tackle in meetings against San Diego State (Oct. 13) and Wyoming (Nov. 3), both games on the road.

2011 (Junior): Saw plenty of playing time in the CSU secondary as a reserve cornerback, and played in all 12 games, with one start...Wound up with 14 tackles (nine solo) and a forced fumble...In loss at No. 19 TCU (Nov. 19), just 32 miles from where he played prep football, combined with high-school teammate Mychal Sisson on a key fourth-quarter takeaway, forcing an Ed Wesley fumble recovered by Sisson...Started the season-ending loss vs. Wyoming (Dec. 3), the first nod of his career...Earned academic all-conference honors following the season.

2010 (Sophomore): A reserve in the CSU secondary, played in eight games...Had six tackles (four solo)...Matched a career high with three stops in season-opener, vs. Colorado (Sept. 4) at Invesco Field...In dramatic 36-34 win vs. Idaho (Sept. 25), saw first-half action in the secondary.

2009 (Freshman): Played in 11 games, primarily on special teams...Had five stops (four solo)...Played on defense late in 35-20 win vs. Nevada (Sept. 19)... Played on defense during fourth quarter of loss at TCU (Oct. 17), and vs. Wyoming (Nov. 27)...Earned academic all-conference following the season.
