2009 (Sophomore): Played in 10 games, with two starts...Had 13 tackles (five solo) and one pass breakup...Made his 2009 debut on defense late in 35-20 win vs. Nevada (Sept. 19)...In fourth quarter of 24-17 loss vs. Utah (Oct. 10), saw significant playing time at cornerback with Nick Oppenneer sidelined... Played on defense during fourth quarter of loss at TCU (Oct. 17)...In loss at UNLV (Nov. 7), made his first start since Sept. 20, 2008...In last-second loss at New Mexico (Nov. 21), again made the start at CB and nearly intercepted a first-quarter pass in the end zone.

2008 (Freshman): Played in 10 games, starting three contests at cornerback...Had 13 tackles (nine solo), one stop for loss, and one pass broken up...Made his college debut, in the starting lineup, in season opener vs. Colorado (Aug. 31); broke up a Cody Hawkins pass in the third quarter, helping to force a punt...Sustained an ankle injury in first quarter vs. Houston (Sept. 20) and did not return...In New Mexico Bowl triumph vs. Fresno State (Dec. 20), played much of the third quarter at cornerback in place of an injured Nick Oppenneer.

2007: Redshirted as a true freshman in his first season of college eligibility.

High School: Was a two-sport athlete at Ridgeview High School in Bakersfield, Calif. ...Invited to the Nike Combine in 2005 and California State football Down Under Bowl in 2007...A two-time all-league defensive back, also received all-league track and field and all-area honors in 2006...Was an eight-time national track and field junior Olympian...Named to dean's list...High school football coach was Mike Crews.
